- [Instructor] Managing Microsoft 365 security alerts. There are two core kinds of alert features that are available to us within Office 365 for managing. The first one is the Manage Alerts option. So we can use activity alerts to send email notifications based on specific activities that take place. Activity alerts are like searching the Office 365 audit log for events, except you are sent an email message when the event occurs. Manage advanced alerts. You can use this to define Office 365 Cloud App Security alerts and set up policies that will notify you based on suspicious and anomalous activity. You can investigate situations that are potentially problematic, and if needed, you can then address those with specific actions. An administrator in the organization can then go ahead and create and configure and turns on alert policy by using the Alert Policies page in a Security and Compliance Center. You can also…
