Password policies
- [Instructor] Every organization has its own policies regarding the use of passwords. For example, many organizations require users to change their passwords every 30 days. The nice thing about Office 365 is that it can be configured to adhere to your organization's existing password policies. So let's take a look at how we can configure that. As you can see, I'm in the Microsoft 365 admin center and I'm going to go to the settings section, which you can see right here. From there, I'm going to click on security and privacy. Once I'm in the security and privacy section you'll notice that we have a section right here for password policy. I'll go ahead and click on edit. Now I'm inside of the password policy and there are only two settings that we can modify. The number of days before the password expires, which is set to 90 days by default. And the days before a user is notified about expiration. And we can configure either one of those values even though they appear as though they're…
