- [Instructor] When you enable user for multifactor authentication, it may keep that user from being able to sign into older versions of Outlook. Now this shouldn't be a problem is the user is using Office 2016 or higher, or if they're accessing their mailbox through a browser. However, if the user ahs something older, such as Outlook 2013, then multifactor authentication may inhibit that user's ability to access their mailbox. The workaround for this is to allow the user to create an app password. So let's take a look at how to do that. As you can see, I'm in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. And I'll go ahead and expand the menu. And from there, I'll go to users, and I'll click on Active Users. So now I'm taken to the Active Users screen. And what I want to do next is click on More, and then Multifactor Authentication Setup. I'll go ahead and click on that now.
