Describe threat protection solutions in Microsoft 365: Part 1
- [Instructor] In order to better protect your organization from a security standpoint, it's important you understand what are the most likely security threats that your data and your organization face. For example, data loss is very common. By data loss, I don't just mean losing the data, you know, putting it on a memory stick, and it falling out of your pocket. I mean, that's maybe what I mean. But in addition to that and more likely I mean the inadvertent sharing of data with users outside your organization that shouldn't have access to that data. Malicious software or ransomware, so where your data is physically lost because you can't gain access to it because of a ransomware attack, and identity compromise where a user is able to gain access because they have bypassed some of the security features and have compromised your identity protection.
