- [Cecilia] Excel is the powerhouse of Office 365. It's been the spreadsheet of choice for as long as I can remember. When we need to crunch numbers, Excel is our go-to application. And just like with Word and PowerPoint, there are two versions of Excel that you can leverage: the online or the desktop version. For our demonstration today, we're going to go ahead and work with the desktop version. And as we've seen before, we can select an existing template, we can work on a previously opened file, or we can create a new workbook. Today, we're going to go ahead and create a new workbook. I'm going to select Blank workbook. Our spreadsheet today will have the guest rooms and the rate per day for the week. The first thing I'm going to do is add in the days of the week.
