- [Instructor] What are Microsoft 365 Apps? Well, broadly speaking, those are the applications that are typically installed on users' devices such as Excel, word, PowerPoint, and so on. The specifics of the apps, what it is that users have will depend on the Microsoft 365 subscription that you have. So for instance, Microsoft 365 Business Basics doesn't provide access to those apps, whereas Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Microsoft 365 Enterprise does. You can deploy apps to your user's devices by using the Microsoft 365 portal. This could be a self-service option. So if a user navigates to www.office.com and selects the install and more button in the upper right corner of the landing page, they can install the Microsoft 365 Apps onto their device according to settings that have been configured and the restrictions of their licensing and your subscription.
