- [Instructor] Attack Surface Reduction helps secure your devices in the following ways. App and browser isolation, attack surface reduction rules, device control, exploit protection, web protection for legacy Edge browser, and application control. You create an attack surface reduction rule by using Endpoint Security in Microsoft Intune admin center. Once you create the policy, you are asked to choose what type of profile you want and that's where you select between things like exploit protection, device control, and so on. In demonstration, I will show you how to create an attack surface reduction rule. So to create attack surface reduction rules in the Microsoft Intune admin center, select the Endpoint Security folder and then scroll down and choose Attack surface reduction.
