Add the Facilitator agent to a Microsoft Teams meeting
- There's a new Microsoft Copilot agent available within your Microsoft Teams meetings, and I'd like to show you how to set this up so you can try it out in your next meeting. Now, we're starting here with a meeting that I'm in the midst of scheduling, and if this is where you are, what you're going to look for is right down here next to where you enable Teams meeting is a notification that Facilitator is off for this meeting. We'll go ahead and select Turn On, and now Facilitator is ready to get to work in the meeting. If you've already scheduled your meeting and you want to go back and you want to enable Facilitator, you can go to meeting options up here and then scroll down to the Copilot and Other AI section. You'll find the same Facilitator switch that you can toggle to on. Okay, now, before we do anything else, I want to point out something else that you may want to set up before you go into your meeting. If we scroll down through the details, we're looking for this Add an Agenda area. This is where you can add a loop component and it becomes an agenda to your meeting. Let's go ahead and do that. It's getting that component ready, and we have an agenda area. I have some information copied to my clipboard. I'm going to go ahead and paste that in, and then I'm going to do a little formatting here, just to make sure that we have each of these items listed with the circle and the check inside of it so that it's each agenda item as you see it here. So you can build out your agenda. I encourage you to try this out, because along with your agenda items, if you put an estimated timing, you can also use an @ sign and assign it to one of your colleagues. Once you get into your meeting, Facilitator is going to use this agenda and track the timing that you should be working within for each of these items. So Facilitator's great because it can help you with providing AI assisted notes, it can answer questions within the chat and it can help you with time boxing where you're making sure that all of your time is managed properly within the meeting. So there you have it. We're ready to send this on its way, and then once we're in the meeting, get to having Facilitator help us with that as well.
