- In this video, I want to talk about options for online file storage and file sharing using Microsoft 365 tools. First, to be clear, I do not count email as a file sharing tool. Yes, you can attach a file to an email but when you do that you create an additional copy of that file and send it to another person. You're dealing with multiple copies so if one person edits the file, it can be done difficult to reconcile the differences between those copies. A better way is to use one of the three tools that Microsoft offers for file sharing and storage. OneDrive, SharePoint or Teams. All of these offer you a Cloud storage location. It's like having a storage drive that you can access from any computer through the internet. So you can store your files and you can access them from several computers and mobile devices.
