- Let's look at managed roles in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID So Microsoft 365 subscription comes with set of administrative roles that Microsoft Administrator can assign to specific users. For example, global Administrator, which is the role with highest set of permissions when it comes to identities. And then Exchange Administrator, which has all the capabilities to manage exchange online. And then SharePoint Administrator, same way with the required all the set of permissions to manage entire SharePoint Admin center and then Modern Desktop Administrator, Security and Compliance Administrator, and Microsoft Teams administrator and so on.
