- Welcome to Lesson 11, Implement Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention, also known as DLP. And with this we'll be concentrating on implement DLP for workloads, implement endpoint DLP, and review and respond to DLP alerts, events, and reports. Organizations have sensitive information under their control. Sensitive data can include various data like financial data, proprietary data, credit card numbers, financial institution or financial records, health records, social security numbers, and so on and so forth. So organizations need a way to prevent their users from inappropriately sharing sensitive data with people who shouldn't have it. So pretty much it can become sort of intentional or unintentional data sharing with unwanted or third parties. Microsoft 365 solution to protect sensitive data is a cloud-based service.
