Selecting polygonal components

- [Instructor] One of the ways to model with polygonal objects is to simply select the components in that object and use those to reshape the object. Now, components are typically vertices, edges, and faces, so let's take a look at those. So I'm going to select this object here, and we can get to our components by just right-clicking above it, and you'll see we have Vertex, Edge, and Face. So I'm going to go ahead and select Vertex, and you'll see that that is basically the points on that object, and I can select those. If I right-click and go to Edge, you'll see that it's the lines that connect those points. And then Faces are basically the actual geometry that's defined by edges. So we can use these to reshape and model our object. So I'm going to go ahead and right-click, and let's go back to Vertex. So if I select this Vertex here, you can see I can hold down the Shift key and select more vertices, or I can just marquee select a bunch of vertices if I want. Now you can also shrink…
