- [Instructor] Let's take a look at a couple of more deformers that we can use on our objects in MAYA and these are called the non-linear deformers. So if we go into deform, again, you'll see we have a lot of them, but we also have a little pull-down menu here called non-linear. And I'm going to go ahead and tear that off and you'll see we have a couple of different modifiers that we can use. So I have this very simple object here, but let's take a look at how some of these work. So I'm going to select this and then click on bend. And that adds the bend modifier. Now just like with the lattice, it creates a separate object for that modifier. Now I can't see it here, but if I go into wire frame by pressing four, you'll see that when I select that handle, it shows up here. So it's basically just aligned to the inside of the object. Now if I go over to my attribute editor, you'll see that we have a bend modifier applied. This is the node for that. And so I can just dial up the curvature…
