Arnold light types
- [Instructor] In addition to the spotlight, Maya does have a number of standard lights that will work with Arnold so let's take a look at those. So we can find these in two places. Now I have my rendering shelf up and you'll see we have a couple of those here, but we can be more specific by going into Create, Lights, and you'll see we have a number of different lights. So I'm going to start off with the point light. So when I bring that into the scene, and you can see here if I move it, it's kind of just like a point basically, a bare light bulb in the room. So let's go ahead and turn on Arnold, see how that renders. And right now we're having the same problem we had with the spotlight in that we have a big scene and we need more exposure on the light. So I'm going to go over to my Attribute Editor, go down to the Arnold rollout, and we're going to bump up the exposure. I'm just going to type in the number 12 and that…
