- In addition to selecting objects, we can also manipulate them by moving, rotating, and scaling them. Let's take a look at the move tool. So the move tool is here, in the interface. Now, before we get going, I want to show you some really important hotkeys. Now remember, the hotkey for select is the letter 'Q'. Now, if you go one over on the keyboard to the letter 'W', that's move. 'E' is rotate 'R' is scale, so those top left hand keys 'Q', 'W', 'E', and 'R', step you through select, move, rotate, and scale. And that can be a really fast way to move between the tools, So try and get in the habit of using those hotkeys. Now, before we use the move tool, I'm just going to go ahead and hover over it and double click on it. And this will bring up the tool settings for that particular tool.
