- Now let's do some animation in MAYA. We're going to do this in the animation menu set. So you want to make sure you set that up. And let's go ahead and just start setting up some animation. So I want to basically, just move this blimp. Let's go ahead and just animate that, kind of coming into that docking station. So I'm going to move this back a ways. And then what I want to do is set a key. So I want to record that position in MAYA. So we can go into the key menu and just do a set key which is the hot key S or we can do keys for translation, rotation or scale. So I'm going to do a set key or I can press the letter S. Now watch what happens. First off, here in the timeline, you see, we get a key tick and that tells me I have a key at that frame. And then over here in the channel box, notice how all of these light up in red. And that tells me that all of those are keyed. Now, if I scrub off of that key frame, notice…
