- [Instructor] Welcome back to SAP MRP Strategies. I'm your instructor, Matthew Hunt. Where we left off in our last video, I was showing you a live demo of the hybrid strategy that we created. It's a custom strategy, I called it Z3, you can call it whatever code you give it. The next thing though that we're going to talk about, this is another multi-use strategy, and this particular case is where we do a separate plan for both production and the sales order. We're going to do the plan for production at the final assembly level, and we will do just the plan for the components will be just the sales as a spare part. An overview of this, production plan comes from the dependent requirements of the parent material. The plan generated at the component level is just for the sale of the spare parts only.
