- So welcome to my presentation skills course, my name's Chris Croft and I'm really delighted that you've decided to invest a little bit of money and time in presentations. Presentations are really important quite often with job interviews nowadays you have to give a talk and presentations or things like conferences are often career defining moments there might be somebody in the audience who offers you a job at some point, or it might be really important to get a big sales order or something like that. So presentations a really important skill and in this course I'm going to tell you everything you need to know to be able to give great presentations. I've structured it that we're going to look at things to prepare before your talk and then how to actually give the talk. What are the practical things that you need to do as you go through your presentation from how to do a great start then keeping the main body in a logical order with an agenda, all those sort of thing, and then how to finish, finish is important. So let's get started.
