- [Instructor] If you're serious about marketing on YouTube, vidIQ is one of the most powerful tools to keep in your arsenal. It offers valuable insights for discovering topics, optimizing uploads, and tracking competitors, three features that I use on a regular basis on my main YouTube channel. To find video ideas that people are actually searching for, log into vidIQ and then click on the Keywords section to the left. Then you can type in a few keywords or phrases, and vidIQ will show you some valuable information. Right off the bat, you'll see the search volume for the keyword you searched, how often people are looking for that term. You'll also see the competition score. You can see that, for this one, it's over 93 and considered very high, so it might be difficult to rank for this keyword. However, over on the right, we can see some related keywords.
