Your marketing strategy should be equally as focused on customer retention as it is on acquiring new customers. Why? Because it's so much cheaper to retain customers than to acquire new ones. A great customer retention campaign introduces you to your new customers, keeps current customers from leaving you, and even sparks new sales opportunities. When you think about customer retention, I want you thinking about the words excite and delight. Customers should be excited to be connected to you and you should be looking to delight them at every touchpoint. Customer retention campaign should start right when they become your customer. For customer onboarding, the first 90 days after they become your customer, is the best time to build brand loyalty. So right away, welcome them to your community. Your message should outline expectations, identify next steps and set the right tone by letting them know that they're valued and just how great this experience will be for them. The next…
