- It's normal for business leaders to say that they live and die by their calendars, but too often, their schedule's focused exclusively on work, and when you're ambitious and passionate about what you do, it's easy to let your work spill over into evenings and weekends. The outcomes of this are detrimental not only for your own wellbeing, but also the wellbeing of those you're closest to and the wellbeing of your direct reports, because when you set the example of prioritizing work above all other activities, your team members will believe that the same is expected of them.
