- Finding roles of interest can seem overwhelming, but there are many resources that will make it much easier for you to find ones that much your interests, skills, and knowledge. Let's start with some free resources. First, LinkedIn is a great comprehensive resource. Even if you're not sure what roles you might be interested in exploring but know the skills, knowledge, and/or the qualifications you'd like to use, LinkedIn can be a great resource. By using the global search bar you can enter preferred skills, knowledge, and qualification keywords, and then explore the companies, industries, and individual profiles of people using those keywords in their profiles. Second, the O*NET OnLine is an extensive database powered by the US Department of Labor. It tells you what you'll need for certifications and education and how much you can expect to earn in the US.
