- So you've done a lot of thinking around the barriers your hybrid team experiences and you've probably narrowed in on a few specific ways working across distant presents challenges. We can't bring our teams in person whenever we feel like it but we can recreate the value our team might get if they were colocated. The biggest strides I've seen teams make is making the way they collaborate feel as in person as possible. First, let's talk about using video cameras in meetings. You know I was going to go there, right? Look, research shows that only 58% of us turn on and use our cameras in most virtual meetings, but studies also show that there's a strong correlation between those who consistently use video and those who feel like they're adequately connected to their colleagues.
