Hybrid teams can be high-performing teams

- Gone are the days when we shared office space with most everyone we work with. Hybrid teams are everywhere now and that means you've got teammates all over the place. Maybe you're in multiple locations or some of you share an office. And just one of you works on the other side of the globe. Regardless of your configuration, the question is this. How can you make that distance melt away and be the most productive, cohesive unit possible? Some teams find that being hybrid makes it easier to be awesome. The flexibility of working from wherever they are gives them the freedom to be creative and work when it matters and create space for balance in their lives. But if you've been on a hybrid team, you know there are some challenges too, like feeling disconnected from what's going on or having to bend to time zone differences, video fatigue. To unlock the true potential power of your hybrid team, it's important to understand what makes these teams unique and how to best support them so that they can thrive. Hi, I'm Melanie Proshchenko, a team facilitator and coach and I've helped hundreds of teams find more effective ways to connect and collaborate so that they all can not only be efficient engines of getting stuff done, but also they're able to be good humans for one another. The hybrid team is still an evolving concept but we know enough to make a hybrid team work and even make a hybrid team great. All it takes is a little curiosity and a little effort to make a big difference. So let's get to work.
