- [Narrator] Mailchimp includes the ability to send text messages to your audience. If you've recently noticed that brands are asking for your phone number and sending you texts, you are not alone. Businesses are seeing amazing results with SMS marketing. The components of good SMS marketing include messages that have immediate, timely value. Concise, focused content. something that's actionable. Emojis are also allowed and a link to a website or an offer. Of course, the contacts in your audience have to share their phone number with you, and that could be a really great re-engagement campaign idea. To get access to SMS messaging, you'll submit an application with Mailchimp and then be approved. Two Trees Olive Oil hasn't set up their SMS application yet, but this is what the screen would look like. And you'll work your way through this form and submit it to Mailchimp for approval.
