- [Narrator] As you start thinking about setting up your own file organization in Finder, you will need to be able to create new folders and also to rename both folders and files. I want to start in my Documents folder. So I'll open up Finder and use the shortcut to go straight to my Documents. Of course, you do not have to follow along with the same files I have. You can use your own files if you want, but here in my Documents folder, I have a folder called Photos. I'll double-click to open that. And inside of that, I have more folders containing pictures from places that I've traveled. And I'd like to get this more organized. So to start, I want to make a new folder inside of this folder. One way to do that is to go to the File menu at the top and choose New Folder. And it creates a new folder here.
