SageMaker Model Monitor demonstration

SageMaker Model Monitor demonstration

I'm going to approach this demonstration of SageMaker Model Monitor slightly different, in that I'm going to use an off-the-shelf Amazon provided notebook that shows how to get Model Monitor set up properly. The reason I'm going to do that is because Model Monitor is extremely complicated in order to get it set up and working properly. It's not necessarily the level of scope of the associate exam, but I do want to show you how involved it can be to get set up and show you their notebook fully executed so you can see all the steps involved. I do have the steps detailed out here in this lab guide, in the 8.1 lab guide. However, I have simplified it quite a bit. You basically create a model, you deploy it, you set up a baseline job, you set up a monitoring schedule, where you simulate data in order to purposefully cause drift and then trigger the monitoring job and view the output and compare the two. Let me show you their notebook. So here at this link right here, over in GitHub at AWS…
