Challenge: Calculating logistic regression
(playful music) - [Instructor] Here's your chance to apply what you just learned about binomial logistic regression on your own. You're going to use the dataset we're already using for this project to select another independent variable, to run with the same variable as the dependent variable for the outcome of the game. You'll want to think about what variables could potentially work in the model and switch them with the point scored variable to see how they compare. Remember to use numeric inputs in the model to make sure it runs. Also think about whether you want to run the model in either Excel or R or even both, depending on how much you want to deep dive into the model to understand more of the technicalities behind how it runs.
