Current status of machine learning for cybersecurity

So let's get started with the current status of machine learning for cybersecurity, and that means both offensive and defensive uses. Here's a few recent articles. Gardner has stated that by 2025, the consumerization of AI-enabled fraud will fundamentally change enterprise attack surface, and this will drive more outsourcing of enterprise trust and focus on security, education, and awareness. Other sources have said by 2028, the AI and cybersecurity market size is expected to reach 57.1 billion. Another source has stated that the global AI and cybersecurity market should reach around 102 billion by 2032. That's not that far away. Now what this means is two things. First of all, the market will need more people who understand both AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
