- [Instructor] Another useful tool in our toolkit is the correlation matrix. It's gonna give us information that's similar to what we learned through a scatter plot matrix, but as we'll see, it allows us to look at more variables than we could fit on the screen otherwise. So this way we'll be able to look at all six variables all at once. I've gone to Analyze, Correlate, Bivariate. So the correlation that we're gonna run is the default choice, Pearson correlation, and when folks simply say, I'm gonna run a correlation, they almost always mean a Pearson correlation. I'm gonna bring all six variables into place, and we're gonna click on OK. I'll put this in its own window. And let's see what we observe, 'kay. Now at the risk of being obvious, when industrial land is related to itself, it gets a correlation of one. That's not gonna be the interesting information for us.
