- A proxy server is a great way to protect clients on your network. In this episode, we'll show you how to build one with Squid. Today, we're going to be talking about installing the Squid Proxy Server, which to me sounds very interesting. Just the name, Squid itself, seems like a very fun name. So can you walk us through an intro of what we're going to be talking about today? - Sure. You know, it's an interesting product. If you've never heard of it, we're going to start with a introduction to Squid, and then what it is, then we'll see how to get it installed, and how to set it up as a caching server.
