- [Narrator] Okay, so this is Vintage Clav and it's going to round out our vintage vibe, sort or, instrument section here. The clavinet was a popular instrument mainly in the '70s, I want to say, and it's a keyboard instrument, sort of similar to a Rhodes, not quite a tine piano, but a really cool alternative to the electronic keyboard. Let's take a listen, here. (electronic notes) You probably recognize the song. ("Superstition" electronic instrumental) We almost got there, we were very, very close. The clavinet is a really cool sound, it's certainly very unique. (funky chords) It can be a lot of fun to play, and there are a lot of different sounds going on it. So, first of all, we can just add very simple top and mids to it if we want. Brilliant would be, like, our super-highs. (electronic chords) Treble gives us that sheen.
