Disabling Ctrl-Alt-Delete (demo) - Linux Tutorial
From the course: Linux Hardening
Disabling Ctrl-Alt-Delete (demo)
This demo will show you how to disable control-alt-delete. So we start with running system control. We're going to mask ctrl-alt-del.target. Runs the command. Now I need to restart the daemon. So it's system control, control daemon reload. Now I want to show you that this actually has worked. So I'm going to switch over to my virtual machine and I'm going to send a control-alt-delete to the virtual machine through VMware. And you can see it has no effect. It doesn't start the reload, it just ignores it. Thanks for watching this quick demo.
