- [Narrator] Besides the ability to apply a curve to the overall image, we can also look at the red, green, and blue details independently. This can be quite yeah useful if we want to shift the color of it. For example, let's work with the blue channel here, and the on image tool. I'm going to click and you see how we can warm or cool the image here by just effecting the blues. I'm going to in fact, brighten up the highlights a little bit there for the sky, but come down here to the statue and pull that down to put a little bit more goldish tone back in. Looking at that the individual color channels here can be quite useful as you seek to create a better white balance or slightly refine one color. For example, if I want to put a little bit more red there into that pavement, I can do so by gently lifting. And then come in here to the highlights and cool it down.
