Working with virtual copies

- [Instructor] Virtual copies allow you to create multiple versions of a photograph without actually duplicating the file. And this saves storage space on your hard drive, as well as limits the number of files that you need to manage. Virtual copies are great when you want to explore different looks for the same image, and then reference them next to each other like they are separate images. I've gone back to the Chapter 7 07 02 folder for this photo of a colorful wall mural. We're going to create a virtual copy of this photo and then use the virtual copy to explore this image in black and white. To create a virtual copy, you come up to Photo in the menu, and then down to Create Virtual Copy. And note that the keyboard shortcut is Command or Control + '. And this works whether you're in the library module or the develop module. Lightroom displays the virtual copy as an additional thumbnail of the photograph with this…
