From the course: Leveraging Google Cloud Developer and DevOps Tools

State of Google Cloud tools

- [Lynn] There are so many Google Cloud services. After you determine which services to use, the next big question that we all have to answer is which tools will we use to interact with those services? Choices include the Google Cloud Console, scripting tools, such as the G Cloud Command from the Google Cloud Software Development Kit, or SDK, deployment tools, such as services like deployments and deployment languages like Terraform. I've created this course and structured it based on job role. Because what I've found in my work as a cloud architect, the tools will vary depending on what role you're working in. So there are four parts, application users, data scientists, DevOps professionals and developers. My tip for reviewing and working through this course is to select the role or roles that you are functioning in in your Google Cloud team and to follow those sections of the course to find my best practices, tips and tools that I use in my real world practice. I'm Lynn Langit and this is Google Cloud Platform Tools. We have lots to cover, so let's get started.
