- [Instructor] So let's talk about the internet of things, the public cloud and manufacturing. And how does that relate to a use case? Well, keep in mind that factory data is made up of many things, but typically within a factory, it's going to be the mechanisms that are producing the product, in this case, robots, the ability to track the movement of raw goods and finished products throughout the factory, or inter-factory logistics, the ability to monitor the productivity of the humans that are in the factory, and ultimately, factory productivity holistically. What's occurring, what are we doing well? What can we improve upon? So an example would be a robot which processes data based on its ability to assemble something. Say it's assembling a car door. So information about the assembly of that car door, or the robot data that it produces, pops up into a storage system that exists both within the robot, or in this case, the IOT device, or the remote cloud-based system, say, a database…
