- [Instructor] So why is IoT and public clouds coupled? Why are they dependent one to another? Well, keep in mind that public clouds ultimately have certain patterns or things they do very well. Examples would be Amazon Web Services, Azure from Microsoft, and Google Cloud Platform, but there are a number of other public cloud platforms out there as well. You may have one that's different than the ones you see here. So there's specific IoT systems or services on each of those platforms. For example, on Amazon Web Services, we have AWS IoT, they provide AI capabilities, and also analytical capabilities which are native to that cloud. So they know that IoT is going to be important part of computing and they have certain services out there that are able to maximize their ability to provide value to IoT based applications.
