Use headers and footers in Word Online
- [Instructor] When you have content that needs to appear at the top or bottom of every page in a document, adding it manually can become cumbersome especially with longer documents. Instead, you'll want to use headers and footers, which we're going to explore in this movie. So with the document you have on your screen, you'll notice as you scroll to the top, there's a tab sticking out at the top right. Just hover over that and you'll see that's where we go to access our header. Scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see "footer" down below. Currently we don't see what's in a header or footer on a page. For that, we go up to "view" and go to "reading view." Go ahead and click that. Now you're going to see exactly what's going to print out if you were to print this out, say on paper. Nothing at the top or bottom of this page, currently.
