- [Scott] We've taken a look at installing and configuring Windows Subsystem for Linux, and we've seen how to interact with it for development. WSL is great if it works in your development workflow or if you just need to occasionally use Linux tools and don't want to deal with the overhead of managing a VM or remote server, or dual booting your system back and forth between Windows and Linux. WSL is under active development and new features may be added in the future. Be sure to keep an eye on the WSL documentation at aka.ms/wsl to stay up to date with these changes. Take some time and explore setting up your workflow and tools to use WSL, if that's something that will be useful to you. See you next time.
