Installing a public certificate into Windows Admin Center
- [Instructor] In order to secure our Windows Admin Center, and avoid warnings from our web browser about security outside our organization, we need to install a public certificate, and that involves what's called a CSR request. To get that started, we need to go into Server Manager, and go into Add Roles and Features, and install the web server, also known as Internet Information Services. When we get to Roles, we'll click on Web Server IIS and choose Add Features. I'll click next, and just keep clicking next until I see the Install button. No other changes need to be made. Admin Center installs its own web server separate from IIS, but we need IIS to create the CSR or certificate request. ISS has been installed, I'll click close. And now, from Tools, I'll see a new option for Internet Information Services. And when I open that up, I'm going to expand until we see Server Certificates. Here's the Windows Admin Center's…
