- [Instructor] I'm logged into portal.azure.com where I can create a virtual machine. So I'm going to click on Virtual machines under Azure Services and we see there's no current virtual machines. I'm going to click on Create and now we get a wizard that's going to walk us through all these different steps to create the virtual machine. So under my subscription is pay as I go. Put the dropdown, if you have any other options you can choose those there. But typically, the Pay-As-You-Go option is the one you may see. You can create a new resource group or use one that has been used in the past. And most of my ones in the past were storage related so I'll create a new one and call it VMs. Now I have a virtual machine name I have to pick. I'll just call this one TestVM. I'll want to pick the region I'm in and this is the region it actually picked based on my IP address but you can choose a different one if it makes sense…
