SOLUTION: Connect two guests to the same network
(uplifting music) - [Instructor] To solve this challenge, I'll join both of my guests to the host's network with a bridged adapter mode. In each of their network settings, I'll go in and change the mode, and then choose which adapter of the hosts I want the bridge. First, I'll switch the next one. I'll open the Network Settings, switch to Bridged, and I'll bridge my system's ethernet connection. I'll toggle its network connection off and back on. Then I'll do the same for my Windows guest. I'll open the network settings, switch the mode, and choose my ethernet connection. Taking a look at the network indicator here, I can see that the network interface was reset. I can make this change live, though sometimes it takes a while for the guest to pick up the change, or we can make this change offline when the guest is shut down.
