Shooting inside with natural light
- Now we've seen how you might want to light an interview in a room like this with a full kit of lighting equipment and plenty of time, but what if you're really pressed for time or don't have any equipment and you just have to get a shot. That's also possible. I mean, right now we're not doing any lighting. We just have a natural light on me. We've got the fluorescent lights turned on in the room, which are a little bit yellow, but they're not too bad and there's a little bit of light coming off of a car over here, a hot reflection, which I'm getting on the side of my face, which might look pretty good. The trouble is the sun is always moving so that's gonna change over time so we got to be careful not to fall in love with weird highlights like that that we might like and depend on that for what our shot is gonna look like. Interviews take time and what you set up at the beginning might evolve by the end of the interview and you end up with a totally different looking shot. Alright…
