- [Instructor] So in this movie, we're going to talk about when it's time to service your housing. When you purchase your housing, the manufacturer is going to give you a recommended service interval, and you definitely want to follow those recommendations. However, you may find that sometimes buttons or levers are not really functioning as well as they were when you first got the housing. So before you send the housing in, there's a couple things you can do yourself to see whether it's really an issue. What you want to do is assemble the housing, make sure it's watertight, then you're going to soak it in warm, soapy water. And while it's in there, you're going to work the affected levers or buttons several times, and this is just to work out any minor salt buildup that may have occurred. So even if this does solve the problem, this is usually a sign that the housing is getting close to the time when it's going to need service. And that service is probably to replace some of those…
