- [Instructor] Splunk has a huge library of add-ons and installable apps that can extend the functionality of your Splunk instance. To get started, from the home app, go to either Find More Apps here or click Splunk Apps. And we can filter these either by the newest or most popular. Let's click Popular. Since I'm running Windows, I might try adding this Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Windows, but Splunk is also able to receive data from Windows without installing this add-on. This just adds some additional features. You can read more about it here by clicking More. For Unix and Linux, you can install the Splunk Add-on for Unix and Linux, and that would cover macOS as well. There are also some other things in the top listings here, like Dashboard examples, here's a tool for generating event data, or working with AWS. There's quite a few.
