- Okay, now we're ready to reflow that solder and I'm going to use my reflow gun here. And I have a bunch of settings, on mine it's pretty interesting. Actually i have to put it on its holder to set this, but I turn my hot air on, I can set the temperature right here, I'm going to go with just about 400, and I'm going to set the airflow just about six. Seems to work well for me. Okay, it's up to 400 we're ready to solder. So let me set up for a nice close up view and reflow this solder paste. Okay, just to give you a little perspective here, there's my finger compared to this board here, my tweezers these are really tiny components. So I'm going to go in here and let's start with this USB to UART integrated circuit. And the nice thing about this is I didn't populate the whole board, so you'll actually see the solder flowing.
