- [Instructor] ServiceNow stores data in fields on records across many different tables, and you'll usually see a combination of all of this data in the form of lists. At first glance, these lists can seem like information overload, but let's dive deeper into lists and data so we can start to make sense of all of this information. A list of records from a ServiceNow table shows data stored in that table and data referenced from other tables. Let's go back to the list of critical incidents. In this list, certain fields are in the incident table itself, such as open date and time, short description, string, priority selection, so on and so forth. But other fields refer to other tables. These fields are typically displayed underlined when you hover over them. Note that the first column is always underlined no matter what data may be in that column.
