Working with walls
- [Instructor] In this video, we're picking up right where we left off in the previous one and we're going to begin drawing walls to represent our new layout for this two bedroom apartment unit that we're designing. So if you watched the previous video, you know we cleared out all the existing geometry that was here, and now we need to start creating our new geometry in its place. So we're going to start with the wall tool, which is here on the architecture tab. Now the wall tool is what we call a split button. So you can see it's got a top half and a bottom half. Now you really only need to click the top half to get to the wall tool, but if you do decide to open up the dropdown menu, just make sure you're choosing this first item, wall architectural. And then of course the keyboard shortcut is always an option as well. And that's just the letters W A.
