Revit or Revit LT?
- [Instructor] Just a quick note in this video before we get started. This course is recorded using the full version of Autodesk Revit 2026. However, there's also an LT version that's available, and you can learn more about the specific differences between the two versions at the Autodesk website here. However, you should be able to follow along just fine using Revit LT in this course, with just a few exceptions. So most of the topics that I'm covering here will be available in both versions of the software. In a few instances, the functionality I show on my screen may not be available in Revit LT, and I'll be sure to point those out when they occur. One last note about Revit LT. In some cases, the same tools will be available in both versions of Revit, but the user interface in Revit LT might look slightly different. Here's an example right here of the modify tab in the two versions of the software. And finally, the exercise file that I will be using primarily in this course is based on the Snowden Towers Sample Architectural Model that is included with the full version of the software. Now, this sample model is not included directly with Revit LT, but you can download it from the Autodesk website, and I'll give you more details on how to do so in the next video.
